Default Power Commander V Problem

Last year I bought a power commander V for my 2012 Street Glide. Used it for about 2 months, took it off because when I would crank motor it would spin over 5 or 6 times before it would fire. Took it off and it would fire immediately. So I have been running my Vieds for the last 6 months. Decided today to try power commander again. Hate to have something that I paid $300 for just sitting in a box. Installed this morning. Hit the starter and the motor would not spin fast enough to fire. Sounded like battery was low. Took commander off and bike fired as soon as I hit starter. Has anybody else had this issue. Going to call Fuel Moto next week to try to figure out what's going on.

Google it or search the forums, very common with them. I read about it as my old PCIII did the same thing. Turn in key, turn on fuel and hit starter right away, don't wait for light to go out.

Send it back before the warranty expires. It won't get better. I pulled mine off after a few months and it's still sitting in the garage. I wish I had sent it back.

the 5 or 6 turn overs is from waiting on the light ,can't help with the no cranking power.

I experienced the same thing on my 2010 Ultra. I called Fuel Moto and was told the same thing as mentioned above. Hit the starter button immediately and do not wait for the light to go out. I've been doing that for the last couple years with no problems.
