Hey guys,
I recently purchased a used 07 Train, 1400 miles on her. No issues with the bike, its in great shape, never had any warranty work done or problems that have needed fixing.
I purchased this bike about 1 month ago, and replaced all fluids at that time. I have noticed that the bike will turn over 3-4 times before firing up when I start it. This does not seem normal, when I had my Deuce it would crank 2 times on average and fire. It doesnt seem like too big of a deal, however its is a noticeable difference from my old bike.
The bike has a ness intake, v&h pipes (w/ baffles) and a power commander.
Bypass the power commander and see if it changes the starting. Could be the power commander is set up wrong. All the power commander does is alter what is already programmed into the original ECM. Its a supplement or add-on to the original fuel mapping.
Guys, I think I jumped the gun on posting this thread without searching first.
Looks like the PC causes the delay, which can be avoided by hitting the starter before the efi light goes out....It is well explained in the following thread.
