I ride solo during the week an try to get out with the wife most weekends. I'm constantly changing the seat (street glide seat) and removing the TP. Takes less than 10 minutes for the swap. Very happy with my set-up and I love the brightness of the LEDs on the bags, Good move IMO.

I installed mine a month or so ago. I ride during the week to and from work etc without the tour pack installed, but it is there when we go on trips or long rides together. I like the way the bike drives without the extra weight, but like the convenience when I want it. No down side for me.

Not a 14, but like shayba and jimmy I ride solo a lot and with the wife on weekend or longer trips and can swap out looks in no time at all. I really like the way it handles with no tp, really makes it a lot of fun to ride.

I installed mine this week. So much better than the kit on the 2013 model. No longer do I have to remove the inside of the tour pak. Wiring is a piece of cake too. There is also the ability to move the pak @ 30mm back as the holes are slotted.

I had detachable TP recently installed. Much nicer setup that the kit on my '10. Connections unhooks under the seat. I went with the RK CVO read fender.

Default Tour pack conversion

I know I'm 10 months late on this topic since the last post, however I'm interested on any other feedback on this conversion. Mainly looks and or opinions on the weight difference felt when riding. My wife and I are appx 175 lbs each, and with the tour pack on, I feel the strain especially when making turns. Comments? Will this help us?

It's night and day difference with the tour pack off. I like the fact that I can have a street glide when out hopping around with the guys and then when the wife wants to go we have all the comforts. I think it's one of the best mods I did to my 2014 limited. But that may change after I build the motor this winter lol
