I would not.

MY 2 cents.

The FIRST thing you should buy is some sort of tuner, even without changing pipes and or AC, you can make it run better.

Then, when you do make other changes, it is a matter of making the proper adjustments.

There are a lot of guys here that say you can do just the pipes and be fine, and nobody can document where damage was done because of that, so I can't argue.

I can, however, say.... I would never do that to MY bike.

These machines run lean from the factory, and changing the exhaust allows them to run even more lean.

Your bike, your dime....

Just gotta figure out what to put on it
I am a huge fan of Rush Racing, I have used them for years, I'm on my 4th or 5th Harley with Rush. I have nothing invested in the company, nor am I affiliated in any way, but I am a customer for life because of their customer service and their product.

My 14 FLHTK has their ceramic coated in and out TRUE Dual headpipes with Big Louie 4" mufflers and 2" baffles.

Awesome, I'm gonna have to look into it a lot, & see how it all works out. Thank you

Yes you technically do pipes alone but the question is , do you really want to? Do you know if anything has been do to the bike before at all? Lot of guys have the HD download done, put on some stuff, trade the bike in but take all the stuff off and put the stock pipes and Air cleaner back on??? You wouldn't know that just by looking... What i am saying is are you 100% sure that the bike is 100% stock in that area and if you don't know, find out.

Default my 2 cents

I wouldn't worry about just putting the true duals on with no tuner, but if you can afford to add another $450 on top of the true duals, you will be a lot happier camper.

The stock air cleaner sucks big time. You crank the throttle and the engine slowly winds up.

Do the stage 1 and blip the throttle and let it bark!!

Before you do anything think out what want to do before you start spending your money
on all the parts. Have a plan, are you going to add a high flow air clean at some point down
the road ? All of use here can help you spend your money on all the right stuff to make that
bike run better and be dependable, for your satisfaction.

youve been given pretty good advice here. if you have spare cash get a tuner when your get your pipes & wait for the a/c. just a canned map will blow you away at how much better your bike runs. you will probably find the map you flash with wont even need to change when you do get your a/c sorted & the bike will still run great.

if your like the rest of us, cams will come next so then again another simple fix with another canned map.
