Yes it's true...I have an employee that got a DUI on a horse....that just dont happen everyday...and I just wish I had been there to see them hook the horse up to the wrecker.
I installed my Thunder-Max last night alomg with my Ness Big sucker stage 1. Pretty easy installation. If you just follow the directions to the letter its fool proof. (trust me if anyone can screw it up I certainly can!)
I have to say that I immediately found throttle response better and acceleration much smoother. It also started much quicker on most cases it started with the first compression stroke. I am going to revisit the IAC settings as I set the idle a bit too low (775 rpm's) and let the IAC do its IAC auto thing again...I am also getting some decel popping not horrible...anyone have the same thing and if so how did you tune that out?
sounds good, been waiting for this kind of stuff in the sportbike world, fair bit of experience with the pc3's on my race bikes, but I know my streetglide build will happen in stages, for now fuel injection, pipes. Later on will come the big bore, heads, cam and the like, but I want to be ready for that stuff. No good tuners up in my area, so I'm on my own. I do have access to a dyno, but not a load capable one. So I like the idea of the dtt, and when I build later I won't have to upgrade that part. I guess I'll need to talk to shooter about gettin me one.
Thanks
Been reading through this post and a lot of good info here, I need to go wash my eyes out with beer after seeing the pic though. I think that I saw that this will only work on 02 and above is that true? I have a 98, which I am told is the first year that the injection was put on the EG. Can I use the DTT on my bike if not what are my options?
