DTT and PhilM
Are you still having to "crack your throttle" every now and then to get your bike to start?
I think I told you that I had this problem in the beginning, at least once a day. My solution (when I first had this problem)was to turn off the "automatic nominal idle IAC update mode" and manually set the "Nominial idle IAC steps"to 30.
This helped the problem a great deal. One or twice a week I would still have to crack the throttle to get it to start. It never happened when the bike was cold, it was only after the bike was hot, and set for a while.
A week ago Ichanged the value from 30 to 35. So far it is working fine. I have not had to crack the throttle once since then.
My thought on this, is that it needs more air to start (hense cracking the throttle), so increasing the IAC steps from 30 to 35 shouldgive it more air. So far it has been working great.

So far, I have not set the IAC to manual and it seems to be fine. I will certainly keep that in mind if it crops up again.
Thanks!
Let us know the results. I have my Thundermax with Autotune sitting at home waiting to be installed. I'm hoping to get it dialed in as easily as you did.

Well, I pulled the FatCat off of the bike tonight. I'm taking it to the D&D factory for a little modification. I'm having the O2 bungs added tomorrow. It's all Philm's and BryanTTM's fault. If I can't stay ahead of the BIGDOGS, I might as well try catching up with them!!!

Just got my DTT yesterday. Should get the heads and cams from Doug soon. Hope to start the build this weekend. Got the bike torn down to the crank now. Looks ugly! Removing the tank was a pain, definitely works better with two peole. I personally saw the transformation on Bryans bike WOW! The thing spit and sputtered at first take off and after 4 runs it definitely would snap your neck. I rode the thing before the installation and it was strong even then.
