DTT and PhilM
The timeing table that is in the map that I sent you is one that I made. It is in the Excell spreadsheat that I sent you. It is the first table listed called "Cust". I had too much pinging with the HQ table.
Does he have any pinging with this timing table?
Does Bryan's bike have the 615/585 cams?

I truly believe this is the way to go. I ordered the Tmax. Do you know what the differences are between the Tmax and the DTT? I read the Tmax was plug and play and the DTT was a little more complicated due to the wiring. Besides that is there anything else? I'm wondering what made you decide on the DTT instead of the Tmax. I called Doug and he only sells the DTT.
Fact of the matter is that all bikes benefit from proper tune and that static tunes are just that - "static".
It's a dynamic world we live in and things change. Some will like/need/want dynamic tune, some will not.
It has been mentioned that those of us who are always jacking with stuff will benefit the most, and I certainly agree with that.... as I am "one of those" always mess'n with sumthin.

A couple other motivation factors were that BC Geralomy directly supports the DTT (with their TB's, which I have) and some of Bryan's research with both GMR and Zippers. Steve is also a DTT guy and Zippers told Bryan the same thing they told me... "Not recommended for his build"....
Ironically, Zippers helped me decide....
Oh yea.... I had a DTT on my previous carb'd RG and really liked it, so I had some bias based on personal experience with their products.
Differences: The main thing I know of is that Zippers hides or locks some of timing capabilites from the end user, which in some cases could be a limiting factor.
I remember a kid in grammar school that had all the cool stuff...I thought I had outgrown that....Now you guys come along!!!!!
