Darren, you alluded to the fact that it can "handle" simple changes, like "certain slip-ons" & possiblly an air filter. However, given that... refer back to point #1. It's NOT maintainingstateof tune for performance or ridability ~ it's for EPA.
Interesting to say the least. Thanks for the reply.
ALMOST...put on some FATCATS [:-][:'(]...and the DTT does not give a rats *** about the epa
You are a closet Fatcat lover Bryan (We all know it).Come on over the the performance side of pipes,You know You want to.
I'm sure glad Phil is the DTT guru.I think a trip to the Hill country is in Phils future. Will You tool box fit on You bike Phil?
OHHHH BARRRRRT,Can You hook Me up?
Joe is right,You 2 guys (Bryan and Phil) are gonna send Me to the poor house.
For the record,I'm living proof of a guy that needs the DTT.I'm having fits over My tune.I'm not smart enough to figure out My tq problem so it seems to Me that a DTT will help Me out tremendously due to a lack of tunning knowledge.Anything that makes My sled run at it optimum level without having to tinker with it is cool with Me.This is a no brainier in My book so I'm sooo there.
The TwinScan II+ will give you some capabilities similar to the TCFI-IID, but it's not dynamic tuning. It gathers the data for you, but you have to modify the SERT tables accordingly (manually).
shhhh...let all them naysayers keep gettin dyno tunes and excuses with them SERT's and PC's...like a real good friend told me just last week..."you can lead a horse to water"...how true, how true

Didn't realize the 'D' had automatic tuning adjustments. I hadn't really read much on that set up, just on the Twin Scan stuff. I can't really afford the 'D' and I'm very used to SERT.
I like the idea of the dynamic tuning....but my wife would dynamically tune my a$$ if I spent that much!
Michael....now that is funny, the other thing that the "closed loop" systems do, is constantly monitor and make adjustments, like here in Arkansas, where in a matter of 30 days our humidity and temperature can very by 80% and 75 degrees, and it will make a difference in your bike coming off the dyno, that I know for a fact, cause I have seen if first hand. Closed loop technology, has been around for lots of years like Phil said, it's just new to the Vtwin market, now if they would just make one for my bass boat.

Man you don't have to convince me of that!
I've been making plans for my build and conversion to happen this next fall.
