Great trip! Ride safe and stay off the interstates and enjoy the back roads.

Don't get the bad gas in Baton rouge area.

Do you have your roadside figured out ? ( you can upgrade the included HOG roadside for $20).

Just because it's new, check all your fluids and tires, levers, mirrors etc.
make sure your shifter ( for instance) isn't gonna fall off on you.

weather/fatigue.
don't push yourself. pull over if you have to.

Sometimes when i ride I make 2 reservations, 1 about 200 miles and the other about 500 miles out.

i decide at lunch which one to cancel, based on weather and the day.

best western offers hog discount.

Lucky you! We Northern folk are still looking at lots of snow around, wind chill factor and roads much too dirty to ride on. But spring is coming - right?
Enjoy your trip.

You're doomed.....

Once you start going on long rides, you'll want another.....and another.......and another.......

Local rides will never be the same. Have fun and keep the shiny side up!

OK, good luck! I'm more envious than anything else. Still a little too nippy for long rides here. But it won't be long.
