Really long rides 200+ or really cold mornings (30's 40's) on my 65 mile drive to work maybe.

Most of my rides are primarily 70 mph+. Windshield usually stays on and I don't really notice even in pictures. It does feel good if I ever take it off for a local ride.

Around town and on short hops I go without. On the highway and longer trips the ride is much more comfortable with the shield. Must admit I like the looks of the bike a lot more without.

I like mine without the windshield, it just looks better. But it's good to have when you're on a long road trip, or if it's cold or rainy.

Always shielded because I don't wear a helmet and don't care for Goggles and getting hit with bugs and road debris. Plus it's quieter without the wind noise. Haven't rode a bike without the windshield is years. Once rode to the shop without it. Didn't care for it. I ride for comfort from the inside out. I don't care much how it "looks" to strangers. I don't think the bike can look bad either way.

Lowers and Guard chaps as well.

I really enjoy riding with the windshield, less windnoise. After i cut it down, just below mine nose.
