Default Rain Gear

My wife and I are looking for some new rain gear. We've been looking on different sites and the prices vary from $40.00 for a 2 piece set to over $200. I'm not looking to spend a fortune but we would like something decent. Any recommendations?

Thanks!!

I 've 2 recommendations.

First - don't buy cheap or you'll be buying twice.

Second - I have the H-D "Hi Vis" rain suit and it's a high quality piece of rain gear. It was $150 a couple of years ago. I highly recommend it.

Not to mention comfort. Better stuff is breathable and you don't feel like you have on a trash bag. Find a harley set used for each of you, its worth a little extra comfort.

After reading what you guys are saying it makes perfect sense. That last thing you want is to be uncomfortable riding in the rain. It's hard enough without that hassle.

Threads like this will eventually yield a list of everything that exists. A much discussed topic.

You can use Google or Bing to limit your search to just HDForums.com, like the link below. Much better than using the search function on this site

The hi-vis suit if you fold and then roll the bibs/jacket up fits in the stow sack about 6" in dia and 7-8" long.
