I don't have any problems sticking my dipstick into the hole. The lube makes it real easy; just go gentle & don't put too much force behind it and it should slip in nice & smooth. And make sure you don't stick it in the wrong hole, or there will be leakage. Not to mention dirt on your dipstick.

My pecker pounders are fairly fat so getting them into complex areas can be challenging some times. However I use my bare hand to get my dipstick aligned just right before I screw it into the hole it was intended to fit into. You should be able to wiggle it and turn it a little bit before you feel it slip into place. A little bit of lubrication will allow the O-ring at the top to seal perfectly when its in all the way.

Also I should mention that after you have put your dipstick in the hole many times, over the years, the hole will become enlarged. After several years of putting your dipstick into the hole it will get quite loose and youll completely forget about all the problems you had getting it in when it was new.

The dipstick holding the fluid level indicator is usually the cause of difficulty...
