For SBates, a RUB is a Rich Urban Biker. This crap got started many moons ago. Frankly I don't care what anyone else spends THEIR money on. If it's on a bike, it's not wasted IMHO>
With out the RUB, there would be no Harley-Davidson today!
I still remember all of the Yuppie's in the 80's and 90's in their Wayfarer's with the button-down pink shirts on new Harley's. You're right, they pretty much saved the company.
I'll F-in spend my F-in money on whatever I F-in want to and it aint anyones biz accept me. Weez gots lots mores problems outs theres thens labeling guys who just want to ride and forget about lifes daily problems.

rock on...
i have to say i catch it from both sides, club ppl tell me im a RUB because i have a new bike and have nice things added to it. well i hate that i have the disposible income to do as please and you dont. sucks for you. yet the ppl that actually classified as RUBs talk about bad about me being a bike r and the lifestyle i live... damn if i had feeling they would be hurt from both sides.
i dont care if the other person spends $50k on their bike and rides 1000 miles a year or spends $1000 on their bike and rides 50k miles. i still going to wave to them the same. not my bussiness
