why do RUB's want to spend $$$ to make their motorcycle look like someone's they would be afraid to ride with???

Well sometimes I wear running shoes and I don't run.

Why do "YOU" care? There are a couple of guys on this forum who aren't on a crew who ride badass hardtails. I don't believe they're RUB's though.

Last 1% crew I saw was full of Street Glides and minimally modified baggers mixed in with the bikes you probably associate with those "scary" guys.

 

Hell, around here the scary guys I would not ride with all ride sport bikes.

 

Because it's their money and not mine...

 

It makes them feel bad *** when they cart their gallon of Amsoil coolant to the register before they head over to Bed Bath and Beyond with the wife.

Seriously, I don't see it. Many of the so called real bikers have older scoots that are usually personalized and set up for performance rather than looks. I even know some old school guys that may have an Ultra in the garage for longer trips.
