I put true duals and with supertrapp se. They are older so the packing is probably not as effective. With the cat they sounded nice now they are too loud.

ive got Hooker Tuned Flow pipes, they have adjustable baffles, so i can tune the sound to whatever i like. with the baffles fully-closed, its got a hell of a rumble, but isn't deafening. however at speed, it can take on a bit of an annoying drone, so i think i might open them up a bit, get more of a bark from them, and eliminate the drone

Dresser Duals/True Duals will make any slip-on louder. If you like the look of dresser duals like mentioned, something adjustable like Supertrapp Fatshots or SE Nightsticks would be the best solution. Either that or ear plugs.
