narrowed down to rinehart. cfr or rc....your opinion is appreciated. want deep sound. care less about hp. louder than stock but not ear splitting. 13 UC stock except a/n ac and xied,s thx much guys
That is a very subjective question, and you are going to get ALOT of varying responses...
Personally, I have had Vance and Hines Big Ovals on my 08 Ultra Classic, but recently changed them out to Klockwerks WFB's. The V&H pipes provided a low rumble and were moderately "loud". The Klockwerks are a different tone than the V&H pipes...more of a "hot rod" tone IMO...a bit more loud than the Vance's and a tad higher pitch. I am going to stick with the Klocks, as I dig the sound more than the V&H's, and I like loud pipes.
Best of luck with your decision.
thx. i appreciate the response. i figured id get a bunch of opinions and thats why i narrowed it down to those 3 choices. maybe someone with experience with these slipons can chime in.
Just put on 4" Rinehart on my SGS. I've had V&H, Bub, HD Street Cannons and some others in the past. The Rineharts are my favorite so far. Louder than the Street Cannons, but a good deep rumble. Probably not as deep as the CFR's that I've heard though.
I watched lots of different videos and read a ton of posts before I ordered the Rineharts. In the end, without actually hearing each one, you just have to follow your gut. This video series helped me out from a performance side, although it sounds like you don't care as much about the power:
I have the CFR fluted slip ons and love them...deep growl is what you can expect.....love the rumble at idle and during highway speeds...deep sound all the time....I would definitely recommend them...
