I installed new bars and grips tonight on my SG (2014) and after I fed the wires through the bars I can't for the life of me find (or remember) what the second (smaller) plug on the twist grip sensor wiring harness in the fairing is for and where the female side of it is. There is nothing anywhere close to the larger plug. In order to not have to splice wires for the longer bars I did have to remove three of the female ends (receiveng end of the plugs for the controls on the bars) from the plastic piece they were zip tied to but there is absolutely nothing near the larger plug for te smaller to plug into. Normally I would t worry about it but I have no throttle now so I know something is wrong. Part of me wonders if one of te connections within the bars came loose after fishing it through....
