My bike 07 rodeglide will cruise at 110 mph in 5th and still have aways to go before redline at 5400. 6th gear is useless unless youre running down the interstate at 70 or above. I never even hit it most rides, its basicly a fuel saver overdrive for interstate riding only.

have you had any service issues with renegade? i can't stand there sales department or tactics, but haven't had any problems with their service department. bought 3 bikes from cajun, but its a little far to go for 'small' things.

OK Guys
I did what you guys suggested about watching the tach instead of the speedo and staying in 5th up until about 2800 RPM. WOW!! I feel like a Born Again Rider! Twist the wick and yer outta there!! Thanks for all of your help.
