07 Electraglide-noisey 5th gear?

Default 07 Electraglide-noisey 5th gear?
Have a 2007 Elec glide standard 96, 6speed, 21k miles and 5th gear whines under accel, is this normal?

My 2009 Ultra Classic makes the same noise in 5th gear.

it's a square cut 5th gear.
You'll get used to it and it's a great way to know that you've got 1 more
gear to go.

install an isolated drive from Zannotti's and all noises will pretty much disappear. best money I have spent--about $200,

forgot, it also gets rid of that lugging feeling around 2000 rpm and smooths the feel of the motor.

Amsoil, killed the "rattle can" that was in my tranny too. Straight cut gears will whine, nature of the beast.

Yes, it's the sound of a strong gear set (straight cut gears vs herringbone).

...it's the reason I kept my 05...seriously!...is it stronger?...probably...but I haven't heard of 5 speeds blowing 5th gear...it's normal for a six-speed...
