I just purchased an '02 ElectaGlide Ultra Classic and will be getting a kit to easily remove the TourPak.
My next plan of action is to get a more appropriate seat. I read that a StreetGlide seat should do the trick nicely. I just wasn't sure what years/range would be compatible ?
2006 and 2007 FLHX seats would be the only ones fit your frame...seat mounts changed in 2008, I believe...If I recall, the whole frame changed in what? 2009? Others will weigh in no doubt. I just found those two years of seat fit my 2006 Street Glide, and I wound up putting on a seat from a 2002 Road King for two-up riding.
97-07 seats will fit, except for the road king and street glide (and cvo Electra 04-05) due to the length of the tank console. The Electra, classic, and ultra have a short console and long nosed seat, the others have a long console and short nosed seat. Street glide is the same as the road king, a no fit for your early Electra.

I run a '07 Street glide seat along with the longer console. You can buy a console extension or swap it out.
it was a question for another. Thank you for the offer.
Well actually the offer was for the OP @pitarobb as the spacer is for the old frame/tank/seat/console. I used it on my 07 ultra when I put on a short nose solo seat. Anyway, I have one sitting here if someone needs it. Chrome is excellent. No marks.
