I think I'll buy the bolt cover kit over the weekend and paint the ones that go on the black areas of the engine black before I app;y them. I'll talk to the dealer what they suggest to use to paint the ones I want black. Once I installed them I'll post some before and after photos.
Although, I just surfed the Hot Toppers site and I think black covers in the black areas of the FLHX's tranny/Engine/Primary would look hot. How can they melt if they are metal? right?
