PM sent. What I have is the 4 piece set of zippered holders or liners that lay on the bottom of the bags and are molded to fit. No tools just the bags.
The lid restrainers that they offer on that site are kind of cool. I have one that has a big single pouch that I like and also the one that has smaller compartments. I like the one big compartment best

ok, I have looked at the Carhart tool roll, the Arsenal tool roll, and the Custom Leather Craft tool roll. The Carhart is the most expensive while the CLC is the least expensive. Reading the reviews of each I find most are happy with all three. My question is does the Carhart roll have pockets to hold sockets? I cant seem to tell from the photos.

The CLC roll has a stitched elastic band down the middle to hold tools in place while the Carhart and Arsenal bag do not. I like that feature. I also read many complaints that the plastic clips on the CLC roll were pretty weak and have a tendency to break. The clips on the Carhart roll look pretty beefy to me.

Some folks were complaining the some of the pockets were pretty much worthless in all three rolls as they were so small that only a pen/pencil could be placed in them. I am also wondering about how large the roll becomes when rolled with tools in them.

Not sure any of the above are deal breakers for me. The bag and the tools will be going in my saddlebags and will probably (fingers crossed) see very little use but I like the feeling of security of knowing that I have them if and when I need them. Hey, just trying to save my social security dollars! LOL!

thanks!

I like the arsenal only because it seems it has a bit more capacity. I think it'll fit perfect in the added real estate on extended bags. Still torn though.

After seeing this thread, I ordered the Carhart in black from eBags for 21.99 delivered using shoprunner for the free shipping. I am holding it now. The smallest pocket on it is about an inch and a half wide, and there are only a couple that small. They get larger as they go across.
In looking it over, I can't imagine it not holding all the tools I will need to carry, and I have no doubt that my shock air pump will fit in it too.

There are three socket pockets across one end, which is the end that rolls into the inside of the roll, and are closed via a Velcro flap.

This bag is very nicely made, and should last a lifetime. The clasps are heavy duty, and it has a nice handle built in for carrying when rolled up.

These are the best. have them in both saddlebags and have more tools in them than I had in two tool rolls before. Also use their saddlebag tethers. Their luggage is as good or better than HD's luggage that goes inside saddlebags and tourpak. I like the idea of the two bags in the tourpak - instead of one large one, two stackable bags.

Amazing: ordered the tool roll yesterday morning from eBags and it arrived this afternoon... The 'bag' looks great and should amply replace the zip-lock bags I'm now using.
