Default MGS True Dual headers

Hey guys. Been looking at replacing my stock headers and going true duals. I really like the looks of the MGS True dual header system and it's supposed to be better performing (secondary issue for me although I wouldn't want to go backwards). Was wondering tho, with the rear cylinder pipe going to the left side only, am I creating a new heat issue with the pipe going up by the left passenger leg (and mine!)? Also, I have the FBI drops eat kit installed so I'm really close to that area of bike as well. Any thoughts?

No issues with heat here. Yes, the left side will be hotter than you're used to (going from zero pipe to one). But I've not thought about it once. No cats + good tune = no worries. Neither the wifey nor the 10-yr old son have complained once about heat on their left ankles. If it was was an issue with comfort, they would have let me hear ALL about it.

If you've got the mid-frame heat deflectors, you'll have to trim the left-side to get it to fit around the rear MGS pipe. Others here have done just that...I just left 'em off.

Thanks for the info! I really like how the right side pipe goes straight back and I really like that true dual sound. Just not wanting to cause heat problems instead of getting rid of it.
