I noticed my head light blown on the way to work. I need to pick one up at lunch today to get me home after work.
I think that the light that is installed in it is the HELLA 002395991 7" H4 . I cant find the Hella H 4 bulb on any of the auto parts stores websites. Can I pick up any brand H4 bulb just so I can get home and then order the correct one tonight? Are all H4 bulbs connectors the same?
Nope. Neither work. I was in the parking lot at work this morning when I started up the bike for a friend to hear it for the first time and he noticed that the head light was out. So I hit the high beam and it come on for about 2 seconds and it blew. I'm guessing there is more going on here than I want to know about.

Yes,unless like stated. Your plug might be shorted
I agree that there is probably something more than just a burned out bulb going on. Unless there is some reason you don't want to be stopped by the cops (other than the light), I would just ride it home. If you do get stopped and the cop wants to give you a ticket, it's just a defective equipment ticket, not a moving violation (at least here in Washington) and when you fix the problem the ticket goes away.
Thanks, I'm guessing the same thing. I wanted to know if any H4 bulb would work so that I could pick up a cheap one at lunch to use for testing tonight once I get the faring off. I will take the risk and drive home without it on and then see how it goes.
