Default New Bagger owner looking for a seat

Hey all, just picked up a new 13 FLHR and have done some customizing to it already. Only problem is the seat right now...I've currently got the HD Brawler solo on it and I find the position to be much too far back and too wide! Now I'm a little on the verticaly challanged side at 5'8" but don't want to lower the ride if I don't have too. So I'm reaching out to the masses here to see if anyone has found something along these lines. Any help would be great. THX

Check out http://www.meancitycycles.com/

They currently have my seat and are doing the "narrow" conversion.

I've been looking at their work and will prob go that rout if I can't find any other option. But there's gotta be something out there.

I have a Mustang Vintage Solo (15" wide). Probably sits about the same height as a stock Road King seat, but back an inch or so and much more comfortable. May sit too high for you. Mustang also makes a low profile Tripper solo that sits lower than the Vintage solo and I think it's narrower.

You may want to check out a C&C solo. Or maybe a Danny Gray Speed Cradle solo (made for folks about 5'8" and under). I had a Danny Gray "Big Seat" on my '10 Street Glide and it pushed me too far forward - I'm 6'3" and so it didn't work for me, but may work for you. Seems like it was about the same height as the stock S.G. seat. Whatever you do, don't hurry. Look around, sit on other peoples solo seats (with their permission of course). Do your homework. Seats are too expensive to be changing them out every month. Don't ask me how I know.

So there are some options. Good luck.

Same height...Found Sundowner on Ebay for $180. Pushed me forward enough not to have to change out the bars!!! My issue is reaching the side stand to pull it back. I need to find an extension or something

Part of the reason a seat change is needed is I put an 18" on the rear and 19" on the front. I was at a comfortable position on the stock bike so I think with a lower seat I'll also use the 1" lowering blocks on the rear.
I've been talking to Le Para about the bare bones forward seat and the Villain solo, from all the other "major" makers these seem to be the best suited for the stubby rider
