I like the Idea of going in with a clipboard and interviewing all employees and saying your compiling a PREFERRED DEALER LIST and going to post in on the INTERNET..
The tell them your next interviews will be there customers...
HD stands for Hundred's of Dollars... and the more you give them, the closer to " That List " you are...
Sorry but, if I was told that, I would have scooped my chit up and said " go pizz up a wet rope "

OK I'm better now...
They might just escort you off their property if ya started interviewing their employees and costomers.
If I was dissatisfied with a dealer I don't think I would make a big stir of it and then let them work on my bike. Sorta like telling your surgeon he's a jerk just before they put ya under for Gall Bladder surgery. Ya might wonder for a while why everyone is calling ya Alice when ya wake up.
Please name this wonderful dealership......so we can all avoid going there!
I guess when you sign up for the extended, extended warranty you become preferred?
HD caters to those with money....imagine that?
No money, no service! Back of the line!
Disappointed but not really surprised!
I get this feeling like I owe them something for owning a HD....is equitablecustomer service that hard to provide?
I have one of those dealers in my town. If you walk in with a collared shirt, clean shaven, andsomething other than jeans, you're not a true HD rider....back of the line.
Nothing will change, they'll just tell that donkey not to say anything next time.

Ok you got a point, But I wouldn't be interviewing on the operation table...
And isn't this Fantasy Posting...
I didn't say to DO IT just that I like the IDEA....
And Yea, they Might escort you out, but they may just get the point???......... NAAAAA... they don't care...
I would go out front and star looking at the most expensive model they have. Let a salesman go through the whole schpeel, tell them you are ready to buy, and take any extended warranty and pay cash. As soon as he has it just about all written up tell him that you might want the to get the bike serviced and since they thought so little ofyou in their service department, well lets just forget it and walk away. This is of course after yours is fixed or out of their grip.
I have NEVER had a problem with my service manager. Always takes me in first. I get the best mechanic in the house. He understands my bike and wants it fixed right the first time. It is finished on time. The labor rate is always reasonable. Never scratched it yet. The mechanic is a fanatic on keeping my bike clean and protecting every surface form harm.
He is going to do the 20K service on my Road King tomorrow, right after breakfast. Yup,I do all my own work and have never been disappointed.
Shouda, woulda, coulda !!! What use are these kind of posts, without the dealers name?? With the name ,the rest of us can also boycott. I sure wouldnt want to schedule an appointment with this guy, while on a road trip or in my own hometown, and have this happen. Many of us that travel cross-country every summer, have to schedule oil changes or tire replacement somewhere in the middle of a trip at times. How neat would that be to be planning a tire replacement at this dealer & get pushed back for a day or 2 while on a trip?? Post the guys name & save the rest of us an unpleasant experience. Just sayin!!
