Default Paughco 11" Apes

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has a set of these and how you like them. Just wondering about quality, finish, if they set higher than the fairing (which is a main concern), and if they work with the stock clutch and brake lines being rerouted. Their pre wired kits are pretty well priced, especially since Im wanting to get new controls anyway. Im hoping theyll work with the stock cables sine the PY Mini 10s do. Thanks for any help

Never heard of them but they have been around for years according to the web-site. I have decided to go with the WildOnes 12" but worry it might be higher than I want. 11" should be just about right if you want to stay behind the fairing, depending how they measure them. This company looks like one I would support. HOW ABOUT IT.......anybody using these handlebars???? Show us some pics, give us a report.

LOL, this IS funny.

Snvts82, this is something you will need to get used to on this site. Companies like Paughco and S&S play second fiddle to the Johnny-Come-Lately guys who shovel money with advertising and gimmicks. Guys who know quality know Paughco. They are, and have been the industry standard for quality Harley aftermarket parts for decades, but on this site............bub-kiss.

That being said, I started a thread in the Softail section about some 14 inch Paughcos. In the end, the Paughcos were not what I choose. But not because of quality. For my application, I wanted a wider bar. I have not run the 11 inch bars you asked about, but would NEVER have an issue running a Paughco product. Everything Paughco makes, without exception, is a well built, super high quality part. If you find an application you like, you need not worry about quality.

Here's my thread for reference.

I'm looking at their kit also but it doesnt specify if the kit comes with the brake and clutch cables. I would like to know so I can order them also if they arent supplied with the kit.

Boy you hit this on the head!!

My first bike was built around a Paughco rigid frame from the early 70's. I built it in '89 and it was still perfect after nearly 20 years of biker abuse. When I say abuse I mean old school, dirty, drug runner biker abuse. I would never think twice about the quality of Paughco or S&S.

I wish I still had that old buckboard......
