Funny...I sat on a Slim that had 10" apes and I would have bet money the guys said all cables and such were stock. They looked it. I don't have apes but I have changed bars and I know there's a s*** ton of slack in everything.
I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with stock cables. I just changed out my bars on my 13 slim to 12" bars and all the cables and lines were really close to making it.
Hey! I'm interested in changing my handlebars to 10 inch mini apes. Would I need to change the cables, wires, and brake/clutch lines?
I just swapped my slim stock bars, to the HD Fat mini apes. These have a 3 inch riser then the bars
You may get by with not swapping anything but the front brake line? It will be kind of a roll of the dice.
I had my bars all wired up and installed on the bike and tried hooking up the stock clutch and throttle idle cables to cheat the kit. (The standard 1" mini apes with 1" risers may work?)
The clutch reached but was tight, the throttle idle cables were a no go, not enough slack. I bought everything through Harley as a kit to install the HD fat mini apes. Very easy
Only drama was doing it on my condo patio.

Condo patio! LOL! I'm sure the drama was worth it! Thanks for your help!
I added Wild 1 Street Fighter bars (slightly lower than stock) and 4 1/2" Wild 1 risers. There is still plenty of slack; rerouting the cables will give you even more room.
