Has anyone put 10" apes on there RG? I know socalpappy put 8.5" on his and needed to modify the brake line. What is involved with the 10" apes? How much do I need to change. I am looking at the wild one apes. Had the RKII on my RK and like their quality. Getting ready for santa, ya know

If you go with the 10" Apes - You'll have to change out ALL your cables & lines and entend all your wiring through the handlebars +3" (to be on the safe side)..
Here is my ugly RG with 515's, 10" apes.
You wouldnt HAVE to change out any cables but it really puts the brake line in a pretty good stretch. I didnt like it so I bought me a braided clutch and brake line. Everything else is stock.
good luck
