rear brakes
just replaced my rear pads with oem pads and the don't bit very hard like before.do they have a break in period.\they feel smooth so my rotor is gd and the fluid is gd

mine need replacement VERY soon. is it very hard to do yourself? I had the dealer do my fronts because I was having a tire put on and they told me the brakes were need of immediate replacement so I just had them do it since I was there

there are a number of sites that'll tell you how to break in new brakes.
here's one:

brakes are easy to do, but for a 1st timer, I'd suggest you hire someone to do it and show you...or watch over your shoulder.
1.) make sure everything is clean, use a paintbrush to get all the brake dust off
2.) I open the bleeder when I push the pistons back, this expels the dirtiest fluid.
3.) antisieze on the pins
4.) correct torque values
