Default Why would oil pressure change

I just did a cam change on my 2011 sg 103. Installed a se 204 cams,se tapered pushrods, and 850 comp cam lifters. My oil pressure seems to be running a little higher than before the motor work. These numbers are from a warm engine,23 at idle,32 running down the road, and 40 when I hammer it. While these aren't to bad of numbers I was just curious what could of caused the change. I've got about 500 miles on the change and there's not any valve noise, and I've got to be honest man o man did it wake this motor up. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Engine is breathing better and running just a tad cooler making oil just a tad thicker and pressure going up just a tad to circulate it. Mine did the same thing, just a tad.

Also if you centered the oil pump on the crank it be just a touch more efficient.

Probably the lifters are fitting tighter and maybe even the cam journals are a little tighter in the cam plate, causing the oil pressure to be a bit higher. That is all good. I put the Baisley bypass spring in mine when I did the cam change now it has great pressure, much better than before.

Thanks a lot guys this was my first bike cam swap and it went so easy I thought I might have done something wrong. Everybody talks about the alignment pins on the oil pump but mine went right on without them. Then when the oil pressure went up it kind a scared me , but it looks like all is well.

I didn't have a gauge prior to my motor work, but now runs (hot) 15 ish at idle, 35 at 2500, and 40 when pushing hard.
