Default New seat

I want and need a new saet for both rider and passenger. I am looking at a hommack, but it adds height to my 2010 Road King. Is there any other seat as comfortable, but does not add as much height? And is speanding the extra worth heated seats?

I have an ultimate seat ordered, and it should be here Wednesday. I've heard a lot of good things about them, and 2 of my buddies have had them. From what I've been told, they are like sitting on a lazyboy, and the only reason you'll have to stop is if you run out of gas.

Check with your dealer. Most have demo seats in all different styles and you can borrow one and ride with it a day or two. Seats are very personal and what you like may not be what others suggest. Take it from me I've had quite a few before I found the right one.

Ultimate showed up today, Impressed with the looks for sure. And it fits 10X better than the stock seat did. Stock didn't cover the wires that run along the tank console, whatever it's called. This seat snugs right up. Going to test drive later.

Not sure how well the backrest will work with a rider, but that's probably true for all backrests.

There's a Corbin heated seat for sale in the Classifieds. Save some bucks...

I would have bought it but apparently doesn't fit the '14 models with a King Tour Pak.

You may want to look into a Mustang Vintage Solo seat with 13" passenger pillion. Mustang seats look good on a Road King and they are very comfortable. Check my signature picture or go to my albums for the solo and two up pics.

Had my stock seat redone by Mean City Cycles. World of difference at a fraction of the price of new.

Go with Mustang. You won't regret it.

Seats are one of those things you just have to try to know if its for you, and yes heated seats are great if you have to extra coin.

When your doing your research try to see if any seats have bad reviews about the rider having difficulty being able to slide around in the seat to re-position when you need to shift sore spots. A few are made of cheaper materials that don't allow you to move your *** as easy and that could get old on a long trip.

For me the comfort of the hammock was worth the extra height, and the wife loves it so that's what really maters!

I replaced my Hammock with an Ultimate. Ultimate had a design in the works when I bought my bike so I tried the Hammock until Des released the new Ultimate for touring. I had one on my Valk, very popular there.
Their is a difference between a $400 and $1200 seat.(at year end their on sale)
looks and feel
