here is my volume switch, i was pulling straight back with a fork and it yank'd the switch apart.
is it fixable or do I need a new one? i can tell how it works but is that piece of brass supposed to be glued down? i can see how it makes contact inside the switch.
I already have to solder in a new switch on the right side and probably just made more work for the left side.
i had some black housings painted to match the bike so changing those out, i already have chrome switches
Yeah I saw that after I posted. One thing I can tell you tho, if the volume switch cap is hard to push on, drill it out with a bit 1 size smaller than the knurled stem and it'll push on easy and seat all the way on the stem. I know that's not any help for the current question but it may keep you from breaking the new switch.
