Default Brake line replacement question

I swapped my stock lines for Drag Specialties part no. 17412638 (+10) when I installed my apes.

I'm going in another direction and need a stock length line... can I just replace the top section on this style? I'm not finding much info online that has a definitive answer. Also, my current line has a straight banjo from the master... I'd like to run one that has a 90 degree bend so it follows the contours of the new bars better.

I'm having trouble nailing this stuff down, most of the retailers are either using stock photos of not even the specific part #, or the info isn't even stated.

Any help much appreciated.

Yes you can just change the top line as long as the three way manifold has threaded ports. Look up drags fatbook online or consider jp specialties or dennis kirk. They have hundreds of configurations for brake lines and styles.

They're not the threaded ports. The manifold and metal line portion is one casting. I was hoping there was a method to separate the flex line from the hard line section. If you google the part number I posted you can see what it looks like.

Look into the Magnum brand lines. those are the ones i put on mine when i did the apes. they have a 2 piece set up where you can get the style you want from the caliper to the forks then from the forks to the master cylinder!
