Static in speakers...helpful hint
I was chasing an inconsistent static sound in my fairing speakers, new static this spring, never did it before.
Over the winter I had installed a second cigarette lighter adapter in the fairing to power my iPhone. I apparently had the silly thing too close to the left speaker and it was causing the static. Moved it away this afternoon and no more static.
FYI in case this happens to someone else.
