Thanks Geezer glider. I thought it was some of the things I did back in the 60's coming back to haunt me. I guess it is my glasses after all and not the windshield. I first thought it was something on the shield, but after cleaning it thoroughly I realized it was either my glasses or the shield.

Just got a LRS 10" recurve to replace stock shield. Made a world of difference with the buffeting. Passenger noticed it too. James was very helpful, I'd buy from them again.

Check out the Fast Aire "Aero" recurve windshields. They come in sizes from 6" to 11", light to dark gray, and are made of polycarbonate. A steal for $99!

LRS does sales often, if you missed last nights the next will probabley be around Memorial day next month? I have 4 of there shield because of the damn sales! Long trips the 9" elite recurve is my favorite and in and around town and short trips the 6" elite works great. I only use the 9" on longer trips in case of rain so I don't need to stop, blows it right over my head.

Hmmm, I just sent LRS an email lets see what they recommend for a 2014 SGS... I just don't like huge, obnoxious windshields. The X Stream and Ultra look good, price decently too... Well, compared to Klock Werkz products
