no i dont know who makes it.LOL there are no marking on it.it has a flaming scull on one side and the words garage on the other.sorry i dont have a picture of it.i need to figure out how to post pictures on here!! LOL thanks
thanks phrogman,i did see that one,but that one has a switch with it.i have been searching all over the net!!! LOL this one is in a white box with red and black leads.to say the least im about getting pretty frustrated!! LOL thanks man!!
There is a unit that goes in the fairing and connects to the light. The other with a red and black wire plugs into an AC outlet, has a bit of an antenna and the R?B are connected to terminals on the garage door opener.
If this sounds like what you've go, PM me with you email and I'll dig out the instructions and send them. You could also go to your dealer and they'll print them for you.
I took thegarage door opener remote, soldered a wire (2)on both sides of the switch inside the cover, attach the remote under the fairing/nacelle with a tie wrap.
Get a push button switch (momentary) from Radio Shack or other electronics store, solder your wires up. I replaced one of the aux switches on the nacelle with the now remote switch, I have also seen them mounted to the dash.
