Does anyone know how to delete the saved contacts in mass, like a select all feature? I can only delete them one at a time which is annoying and time consuming. Thanks.
That sucks that you can't "delete all" saved contacts. While on a learning curve, I tried twice to load and save my contacts. So now I have every contact listed twice. Sure would be nice to have a "delete all" feature. Are you listening, Harley?

Delete your phone pairing & start over. Lot easier than deleting half the stored contacts. It might work by re-importing your phone book contact list w/o deleting pairing, but it sounds like you had some issues doing that?
My previous post used incorrect terminology. Let me try again.
I attempted to import a .gpx file from my BaseCamp trips. The only items this file have on it are my local waypoints: home, bars, parks, friends' homes, etc. There were no routes or trips. The import seemed to go well, as it pushed all those "waypoints" into the "Saved" area under "Where To." I thought everything was cool, until I tried to navigate to one of the saved locations. It would highlight when I selected it, but it would not open. Further investigation, I found that some of the Saved locations would open just fine, and I could navigate to them.
The difference in being able to open them and NOT being able to open them seems to be this: The locations that contained an actual address from the BaseCamp .gpx files opened just fine, even though some lacked additional information that I entered manually. But, the locations that were a point on the map (i.e., no address attached) will not open. I've got a plan to work around this (and I've learned my lesson not to import waypoints without addresses).
However, my real problem now is that I can't delete these locations. I duplicated them when I tried importing again (before I learned all this other stuff). So, my Saved area has many locations that are worthless, and I can't delete them. As far as I know, the only way to delete them is to open them, then hit the trash can on the right. But, they will not open to allow me to get to the trash can.
Is there a work-around to delete "Saved" locations that will not open?

Yes. You'll need to do a reset from the service mode. You get to service mode by holding the POWER/MUTE button in while turning the IGN switch to ACC & wait until the disclaimer screen comes up, select the disclaimer & then release the POWER/MUTE button. Then just find the reset option from within the menus.
