Default adjusting the handlebars

just installed a Danny Grey solo on my 09 ultra. The seat sets me a little lower (which I really like) and a little further back than the stock seat. I'd like the bars a little closer. How hard is that to do and is it really worth it.
thanks in advance

First off, what are you riding? Secondly, you're damn right it's worth it! If your arms, back, legs are uncomfortable after an hour in the saddle what good is an expensive HD touring bike? I realize money is ALWAYS an object, but DO NOT scrimp on comfort. Take care of that before you buy the chrome or shiny exhaust stuff and you will be excited about hitting the road for a couple of hundred miles as opposed to just riding to the bar because you can't get comfortable in the saddle. Just my 2 cents! Good luck!

Little complicated but actually easy. Pull the ignition switch, lower control panel, pull the radio. Have a 7/16 extended socket for the radio. That is important. Then the 4 bolts can be reached. Loosen bolts completely, adjust bars and tighten. If you have apes, make sure to install the one piece upper bracket if you don't have one.

Simple mechanical skills will get it done.

Pull the ignition switch and the switch panel. This will give you access to the 2 rear bolts on the clamp. These are all you need access to. Loosen these and rotate bars backwards to where you want them and retighten bolts.

2010 Limited with some stuff

Plain to see you have done this before and not just quoted what you've read somewhere. It is not hard to do.

It's certainly well worth making adjustments. I could not get comfortable on my Glide when it was new and it took me a while to realise why, that the bars were a little high. That made the angle of my wrists wrong, but also encouraged me to lift my shoulders, which quickly gave me a stiff neck. Being cautious it took me a few attempts, but once done the contrast was remarkable.

Ive read some post about the earlier year road kings having to take the headlight out to reach a screw. Then I read somewhere that the newer bikes do not require that. Ive search youtube and cant confirm any of that though..

There is a little plastic plate on the newer Road Kings that give you access to the 2 bolts in question. Very easy job on the RK
