Sounds like both parties, the joggers and the douche on the bike, were a bit careless and hopefully both learned a little bit through this experience. I rarely have to deal with pedestrians where I live but I never jump the light because too often there is someone hauling *** through the intersection trying to beat the red.

as a kid living and riding bicycles near a highway , my Dad always told me you have the right of way, but dead right or dead wrong either way you are dead!!! they were prolly jaywalking anyway but should have give the right of way to the oncoming traffic.
