kuryakyn plate light wires
Installing a kuryakyn bullet light rear turn signal bar. It has an LED light for the plate and the instructions say to splice it on to the wires going in to the bulb base. Is this what everyone does? It just seams odd to me

That'd be one way- the blue is the run light +, black is ground ( polarity matters on LEDS)
I have an 09, on that I married into the connector for the fender tip light- I used a 2010 HD Road King signal bar with LEDS

Figured it out. Turns out they supply you with new plugs for the connector. I just twisted them together and crimped them into the new plugs if that makes any sense.
