Lowered my '10 RK one inch front and rear and ordered a Arlen Ness lowered sidestand to find it didn't have enough angle to it so I ordered a Pringle lowered to have the same problem. I have to be extremely careful where I park as my bike could fall over. Question is , has anyone had the same problem and if so how did you correct it? There is only one bolt that can have a shim behind it and it woul be putting a great force on it. Thinking I may have to use a two inch lower but to keep trying new stands is geting expensive.
Why are you replacing the original sidestand? One inch lowered front and rear is not near enough lower to require a different stand. I am running one inch down in the front and 1 1/2" down in the rear and my stock stand does fine.
put the bike on the jiffy stand, heat the stand right about at the bend until cherry red ( remove rubber stubby first)
push the bike to desired angle, the stand will bend
let cool
spray black paint
( do not do this on concrete- which can hold moisture and fracture)

You have an Electra Glide, his might be a Street Glide (not sure what he has) if he has something other than an Electra Glide it probably comes stock 1" lower then yours did.
That might be the difference.
Mike's got the best fix IMO, cost nothing and gets it done.
My electra glide is lowered 2" in front and 2.5 " in back I put a wedge between the kickstand mount and the bracket . I found it on ebay . I don't remember what it cost, but it wasn't much . Works great, and if I decide to raise the bike I can just take the wedge out.
the wedge is a nice simple idea. i dont need one but just saying......
i have a 2013 sg dropped 2'' in the rear. sometimes i even put a 2x4 (1.5'') underneath the kick stand and is still sits pretty well. idk if id do that out in public, but no worries in the shop!
