Front brake rotor warp. We've replaced front rotors 4 times in the past 28K miles. The last time we replaced stock rotors with "floater rotors" -- multi floating tabs in the rotor rather than the single float tab in the stock rotor.
Check on rotors during an exhaust install, dyno run -- warped after less than 10K miles.
So we scheduled a "diagnostic" with the lead mechanic. He removed the wheel and installed new rotors. Run out was out of spec, out of the box. Closer inspection reveals that the mount on the wheel is not square to the axis -- run out of 0.004" at the mount, which puts the outer edge of the rotor run out at about 0.007" out of spec.
ESP -- HD is sending us a new wheel (no deductible on wheels/tires w/ ESP). Jon (lead mechanic) will install new wheel, new rotors. This should fix the problem.
This shop has seen out of spec wheels on one other bike.
Nice to have this issue resolved. Since I've paid the deductible on ESP for the previous rotors, there should be no deductible for this service.
ESP pays off again. Primary case compensator, and control switches in the hand grip, along with the recall on the brake switch.

Have 10K on our 2012 RGU, know I warped the rotors as I overheated them a time or two, I am dealing with them as is until due for brakes, vibrate a lot when heat them back up but slow speed not so much a bother.
I had a '09 FLHTCU that was always warping the front brake rotors. I had 6 sets of rotors on that bike with the first set replaced at 4500 miles. I was never hard on the brakes and I eventually gave up replacing rotors even though they were covered by ESP. Hope you found the cause and the new wheel solves the problem. I traded the '09 for a '14 FLHTK.
