My 16 year old son is getting a bike I sold years ago back tomorrow. I had a 1998 Honda shadow 1100 ace that he was always so upset that I sold so we have been talking to the guy who bought it and we finally have been able to barter with him to trade his 1996 1500 Vulcan and 200 cash for it. So while my son is working tomorrow I will be riding and hour and half away to do the deal. here is a pic of the shadow we are getting back.
I made my son go thru the motorcycle safety course and ride with me for a few months before I let him ride alone.
He has taken and passed the course he also has been riding with me and will be riding with me for sometime till I set him free on his own. The Honda is the bike he took his very 1st ride on so it means a lot to him.
It's been a year since I bought my son his Heritage and I still haven't turned him completely loose on it. He's got about 5k miles on it and handles it really good. Just me being over cautious I guess. 2010 Limited with some stuff
