Might add one to my RKC just for the look if I can find the right one.

Different view...In the 60's choppers we used them to guestimate speed as we didn't use speedometers. Maybe just an East coast thing or maybe just local.I'm sure there will be many who will say "that wouldn't work" But!

Had a set from iron braid on an old bike - two tone leather (black and maroon) - they looked cool but that particular bike's air turbulence resulted in getting beat up while riding - felt great when cruising down the highway at 75 and getting whipped in the arms and face. they weren't braided beyond the lever, just hung free - so I had them braided by Iron Braid at a rally (the girls doing the braiding were wearing bikinis so it worth the $20). that helped to keep the whipping to a minimum. A year later, they were off the bike and in the trash.

I don't know what the current state of the law is, but I saw this article a few years ago. http://bikerlawblog.com/2009/05/26/t...sue-revisited/ You might want to consider carefully whether it is worth the risk to put something on your bike as decoration that can get you arrested for having a dangerous weapon. If you want fringes on your levers just for looks, there may be better alternatives.

Try Culowee leathers they make them in many different colors and lengths. I dont have one but I think they look cool. Maybe I will get a black and gold one for my 04 RKC. I am not sure but I also heard that certain colors represent certain 1% clubs. I am not in one, so I do not know, but that is what I have read here. I have never seen a 1% club riding with them on their bikes.

If I need a weapon, I want something more than a little piece of leather.....as far as for looks....I will agree with the old biker "easy-wyatt" mentioned. But to each his own! I support your right to hang anything you want to off of your bike!

P.S. Can I hang this from my handlebar?

Agree, Tassels and ******* go hand and hand... Not sure I'd want a leash on my brake lever that could potentially get caught on something while riding and engage the front brake... Maybe its a Fear Factor thing...
