I like the long braids I see attached to the front brake lever. I think it would look good hanging from my RKC. Is there some sort of significance or meaning I'm not aware of. I wouldn't want to get myself into some kind of bind....like red tennis shoes or something.
For me, I hung the Captain Itch lever fringe from my bike because it was a sort of walk back in time to my childhood days when I hung baskets on the back of my bike and colorful fringes from the handle bars. That bike was to be a pre curser to my bagger days! Of course, no more colorful plastic streamers but some good sturdy leather!
If considering the lever fringe I highly recommend Captain Itch. Very high quality!!

What is with the red tennis shoes, I have seen several riders in Myrtle Beach wearing them???
The braid I think you are talking about is called a "get back whip". Supposedly it is used to hit cars if they get too close to you. My opinion, anyone who attacks a 4,000# automobile while riding an 800# motorcycle is stupid.
Car driver to police, "honest officer, I didn't see the bike. I just heard something hit my car and I swerved in panic. Didn't mean to hit the bike."
If you get one for decorative purposed fine, just don't use it for it's intended purpose.

they are called 'get back whips'. I had one on my Heritage Classic. It would look good on a RKC.
Google 'get back whips'. You can order the length and color combination to fit your bike.
