Anyone aware of a supplier of '07 Corbin seats? I'm looking for something lower cost than buying direct from Corbin. Drag is not carrying Corbin's '07 line. I'm interested in a Classic Solo for a Street Glide. Thanks.
I wanted a Corbin also but settled on another. I live nere Corbin in Florida so I figured it would be a snap going up there and picking one out for my SG, well when I called they said they did not have any seats in the store to fit a SG. I was amazed! I looked around and could not find one to try out so I bought another brand.

BS - Corbin makes 6 different seats for the SG = http://www.corbin.com/harley/flhx/ to bad also - you could have done their "ride in app" and had a custom seat made to fit your Bottom....
I have had three HD's since 96 and on each one I did the "ride in app" and spent most of the day at the factory and had a custom seat made while I waited,,,, several test rides to get it "just right" the at the end, I rode out with a seat made to my ***... GREAT

I had the young guns seat picked out but when I called them in Daytona the guy told me they didnt have any seat at that time in the store to fit a SG. He said he could order one but I wanted to try it out first. Seems odd that the Daytona store didnt have any. It was Jan of this year.

they don't do 'ride in app' and custom make the seats while you wait in fl. too bad to, fl is a lot closer to me than ca. and drag does indeed carry 'some' of the 07 line. i got my classic solo from drag through zanottis. paid 350 for a 500 dollar seat. oh, and i really like it.
OK, where do I sit and eat my plate of "Crow". I just called FL Corbin and learned that the only place that actually Makes the Corbin seat is Hollister????? I stand corrected and Humbly apologize - I just assumed FL Corbin was a east coast copy of Hollister. I have been to Hollister Corbin many times and that place is loaded to the ceiling with seats - As a customer is having a seat made, we are allowed and incouraged to walk around the entire factory and do a self guided tour - There must be 50+ people making seats = the ride in area usually has 3-4 senior workers taking care of the "ride in appts". I did not fully realize how lucky we were - I have heard horror stories over the past years on Corbins customer service "through the mail type buying" = however - each of my three times I have had a seat made, I could not be happier on how I was treated. The last time I was in there I had my new 04 FLHTCI - we spent 6 hours straight - working on our dual tour and tourpack rest. Most of that time was spent making the wife happy and how she felt on the back seat/arm rest - it kinda became a joke - I just told the maker - what ever makes "her" happy - he did a great job - ended up giving him nice $$$ tip at the end.
again - sorry for not knowing what FL has to offer the customer..

Its very strange I must admit and has untimately turned me off Corbin. I could care less how nice they are to me. I simply wanted to drive up toDaytona Corbin and try out a seat, buy it and ride home. I found it very odd when they told me on the phone they had nothing for my bike. Like I said I had one picked out and am aware they make several for the SG just not available in FL. I do my homework on everything andwould neverpost bogus info. What is a "Plate of Crow"?
Onlythebest - my BS comment was directed at Corbin NOT you - I also was amazed at Corbins comments to you... and eating crow

No offense taken brother. I learned a new phrase also. Thanks
pisspoor planning or something on Corbin's site selection for theirFLlocation. If salesman isto be believed, zoning at their location will not allowthebuilding of seats.
as for not having the seat in the store, could be they just ran out during bike week.
I did buy a seat there. tried one out of the box and found it to be too wide up front andlost ground reach. So I special ordered one for increased reach shipped to the house. when I put it on, it felt exactly like the one I had tried at the store.not real happy andhad to wait for their"Seat Magician" from Hollister to come out during bike week. Made an early appointment 8:00 on the the first Sunday of Bike Week and within 45 minutes was riding away on a modified stock Corbin that fit me. Good deal except, I paid for the home shipping only to have to make multiple trips down there any way.
Ijust can't believe they don't or won't have enough FL drive in business to warrant a full time on site upholstery man.
