First, remove the right side cover, identify which module you have and then educate yourself on its features and capabilities. The information is freely available from ThunderMax. I am more than happy with mine and wouldn't trade it for anything else out there.

I concur with Oldhippie that the T-Max is not my favorite tuner, but it does work and pretty well depending on your build, just never worked well for what I was trying to do. If it is working well on your bike, leave it alone and ride it. You can check for the auto-tune by looking at your pipes about 3 inches from the head, if the O2 sensors are installed chances are more than good that the auto-tune is installed and working. It would be a good idea to hook up to a computer with an internet connection to see if the software and firmware are up to date. Like I said, if it is working OK I wouldn't be in a hurry to change it.

The best on the market...no doubt..I will say however, that the canned maps are good...but a dyno tune with a good tech is the nuts! Canned map...after cam install...88 hp/103 trq...after dynotune 96 hp/112 trq....
