Yep, I second the Bell Pitboss. Has adjustable head band and drop down sun shield. Has pockets over ears for speakers.

If ya care about comfort, ya need to get over yourself and the looks. Arai, Shoei... are motorcycle helmets, not "sportbike" helmets and they work! That is why they are popular with "all" riders.

I've been reading a lot about the Shark Evoline 3 helmets. I've been on the fence but think I'm going to order one soon. It operates as either a full or a 3/4 helmet and you can change it on the fly.

Thanks for the suggestions. Both of those are similar to a couple I have hanging in the garage. I'm looking for something with a bit more protection than a 1/2 helmet provides.

That's in line with what I'm looking for. Thanks, another contender!

one more time:
I bought a Fulmer 755 for a whopping $72 - this is a GREAT brain bucket! It's everything you want in a 3/4 helmet if you want an integrated shield.
Check out the review on web bike world where they compare it to the HJC IS-33
http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motor...vs-fulmer-755/

I bought one for the wife too, but she loves her half helmet. Me - I like listening to tunes over the Sena SMH /10 and the Fulmer helmet is so quiet - what a pleasure! Web bike commented it was quieter than some of the modular helmets they tested.

You won't be disappointed with this choice .....http://www.fulmerhelmets.com/helmets...open-face/755/ __________________

There are definitely helmets designed for upright riding positions and ones designed for leaned forward positions. I have a couple of full face aria and shoei helmets in the garage. They are both uncomfortable on the harley since you can't see the dash well when sitting upright.

I see my dash just fine while siting upright and facing forward. The Shoei is the most comfortable helmet I've ever had on a Harley.
