Fixed it !! I replaced the regulator, (only thing left was the fuel pump) don't know why it went bad; maybe had something to do with the 121,600 miles.
Now just got to fix the fuel gauge float; guess i bent it a bit taking it in and out so much, ran out of gas and the gauge still showed 1/4 tank.
Just do an eBay search. There were several fuel pumps available, Bosch, Delco, and others. Highest price was around $60.00.
I think I picked the Delco, not sure. It came with the strainer, wiring, mounts, hose, clamps.
I replaced everything in my tank for under $150.00, and $45.00 was spent at the dealer for the regulator and housing.
I have had decent luck on eBay, risers, filler strips, fuel parts, gaskets a lot cheaper than the dealer or JP Cycles, good stuff too, drag specialties & others.
I have a 2004 Road Glide and have a problem (I think) with my fuel tank...when the fuel gets close to a 1/4 tank and if I stop suddenly or on a decline the bike stalls?
Easy fix, keep lots of gas in tank. (no not really but was a band aid) on a recent trip I stopped for lunch with a half a tank of gas. When I went to start if bike (in an upright position) the bike
started to sputter like it was running out gas? When I started the bike while it was on the side stand, it ran fine but as soon as I straighten up the bike it started to sputter again?
Fortunately, I was close to gas pumps and filled the tank and the bike ran fine, I made in home by filling up with gas every 50 or 60 miles... a few times during the ride home the bile would start to sputter like it was running out of gas but fortunately again it only lasted a few minutes then the bike ran fine and I made it home?
Appreciate nay suggestions as to what this may be..thank you, Glen Alan Slobodian (GAS)

it sounds like you have a hole in the line that goes from pump to TB. When level is low whether you lean bije stop suddenly you loose fuel psi. Those hoses are known to develop pin holes especially fir almost 15 years old. With the motor running open tank and listen for hissing. Yours should be easy to confirm, start siphoning gas off as its running, you shoyld hear it when you get to the level you have described.
You definitely have a pin hole or a leak in one of the convoluted fuel lines inside your tank. When youre at about half a tank or so with the bike off. Open the fuel cap and look inside with a flash light and at the same time turn your ignition and run/stop switch on to prime the fuel pump. Mist bubbles swirling fuel hissing sound etc. that would be a leak in the system.
